Ashputtel and the Hazel Tree
revisits the timeless tale of a girl whose
voice is suppressed, but not unheard.
Ashputtel is strong, wise, resilient and above all, kind to a fault. These
values can be seen in people throughout history, in the chapters of our
own lives and the stories that we’ve shared from our earliest days. Taking the princess out of a story replaces her with a much stronger
woman, but it is the Prince that is the true hero here because he
values what lies beneath the superficial.
This is a lesson that challenges expectations of our modern world.
